Upon completion of their training and obtaining one renewal of their licenses, APRNs are required to complete 30 contact hours every two years prior to their license renewal.
If you hold an advanced practice license or certificate (PHN, NP, NPF, etc.), additional contact hours are not required beyond the 30 hours required for renewal of the RN license.
