Dr. Adrianne E. Avillion, D.Ed., RN is an experienced nurse, educator, writer, and education specialist with more than 30 years of professional experience. Throughout her career, she has combined clinical expertise with a strong focus on nursing education and professional development.

As an education specialist, Dr. Avillion has developed hundreds of continuing education programmes covering a broad range of topics, including women’s health, mental health, community health, horizontal violence and bullying, medical error reduction, gerontology, patient compliance, teaching and learning strategies, patient safety, ethical and legal issues, and continuing education requirements mandated by state boards of nursing.

In addition to her work in continuing education, Dr. Avillion provides consulting services in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and nursing professional development. She has also published extensively on continuing nursing education and professional development.
