By accessing our website, creating an account, or purchasing a course or package, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

1. About Platinum Learning CE

Platinum Learning CE provides online continuing education resources for eligible healthcare professionals, including registered nurses (RNs), advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), and licensed psychiatric technicians (LPTs).

Our courses are designed to support professional education and applicable license renewal requirements. Course eligibility, included content, access periods, and certificate terms are described on the relevant course or product pages.

You are responsible for confirming that a course meets the requirements applicable to your professional license and renewal cycle.

2. Account Registration and Security

Some features of our website require you to create an account.

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current registration information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Use your own account and not share access in a way that violates these Terms.
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Keep your professional license information accurate where required for course records or certificates.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is compromised, being misused, or being used in violation of these Terms.

3. Course Purchases and Payments

Course and package prices, included courses, access periods, and applicable conditions are displayed on the relevant product page or at checkout.

By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the applicable payment provider to process your payment.

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout. Your transaction may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms and policies.

You should review the course description, package details, pricing, access period, and refund conditions before completing your purchase.

A purchase grants you access to the course or package described at checkout. It does not transfer ownership of our course content or intellectual property.

4. Course Access and Expiration

Course or package access is provided for the period stated on the relevant product page or at checkout.

Where a two-year access period applies, access may expire two years after the applicable purchase or activation date, as specified in the relevant offer.

After access expires, you may need to purchase another package to access additional courses or complete education for a future renewal cycle.

Your account may remain active after course access expires. Changing or resetting your password does not automatically delete your account or course history.

We may update course content, features, or availability when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any specific commitments made at the time of purchase.

5. Certificate Issuance, Validity, and Recordkeeping

Certificates are issued when you complete the applicable course requirements and satisfy the conditions stated for your course or package.

Two-Year Certificate Validity

Where a certificate is issued with a two-year validity period, the certificate is valid for two years according to the dates and terms stated on that certificate.

You are responsible for reviewing your certificate and confirming that it meets the requirements of your professional licensing board.

Four-Year Certificate Recordkeeping

Please keep your certificate in your records for a period of four years after the course is completed.

This four-year recordkeeping period is separate from the certificate’s two-year validity period. Keeping a certificate for four years does not extend its validity or change any licensing board’s requirements.

Platinum Learning CE may also retain course completion and certificate records for verification, customer support, reporting, and applicable recordkeeping purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Professional License Renewal

Completing a course or receiving a certificate does not automatically renew your professional license. You remain responsible for submitting your renewal application, paying any required fees, and meeting all applicable licensing requirements.

A certificate’s validity under our service terms does not override the rules of the relevant licensing board. We do not guarantee that a licensing board will accept a particular course or certificate in every circumstance.

6. Course Completion and Professional Responsibility

You must complete the course activities and assessments required for your selected course or package.

You agree to:

• Complete required coursework honestly.
• Provide accurate information when registering and completing courses.
• Follow the course instructions and assessment requirements.
• Review the applicable course and certificate terms.
• Confirm that your selected education meets your professional needs.

Our educational materials are intended to support learning. They do not replace official licensing board instructions, applicable laws, or professional judgment.

You are responsible for confirming current continuing education and license renewal requirements directly with the relevant licensing board.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund and Returns Policy.
Eligible purchases may qualify for a refund within 30 days of the original purchase date, provided that a certificate has not been generated for the purchased course or package.

Once a certificate has been generated, the purchase is no longer eligible for a refund under our standard refund policy, subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

If a technical issue prevents you from accessing or completing a purchased course, our team will investigate and make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve the issue and you remain unable to use the purchased course, we will provide a refund for the affected purchase, subject to verification and applicable law.

Please review our Refund and Returns Policy for full details. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, website content, course materials, text, graphics, logos, designs, and other resources are owned by Platinum Learning CE or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use purchased course materials for your own permitted educational purposes, subject to these Terms and the applicable purchase conditions.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or publicly share protected materials.
• Copy or modify our content for commercial distribution.
• Remove copyright notices or ownership information.

To the extent permitted by law, Platinum Learning CE disclaims warranties that may lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Platinum Learning CE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of our website or educational services.

We are not responsible for licensing decisions made by a professional board, changes to external licensing requirements, or temporary interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
