Beth Hawkes spent 15 years as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist at Adventist Health Bakersfield, where CE course development and review was a core part of her role, alongside administering the hospital’s continuing education program for RNs, CNAs, and ENTs.

Outside that role, she has written and reviewed content for ANCC, HealthStream, Versant, and Lippincott Procedures (Wolters Kluwer), and holds board certification in Nursing Professional Development. She is also a published author, with credits including First-Year Nurse (Skyhorse Publishing) and a peer-reviewed article in the Journal of Nurses in Professional Development.
